Looking back at July, It was a really amazing month, I got to spend so much time with my friends and family as well as getting outside and enjoying the sunshine. So much so that editing blog posts and videos had been at the bottom of my priority list. Ive taken so many photos and videos that now im hoping for some rain so im stuck indoors and forced to spend my afternoons editing. It was that much of a good month I can’t even choose my favourite moments, but I will have to otherwise this post will be a long one!

My friend Courtney came to stay with us, our first house guest! I took her around my hometown, we went pottery painting and lots of shopping (and of course pizza). Me and Heidi have also been London again, well this was late in June but I’ve been so busy I never posted the photos. We had a really relaxing day and met up with her friend who lives in London. We sat chatting in Holland Park for hours before heading to Oxford Street for some shopping. Followed by the most amazing garlic bread at Zissi’s.

I became god parent to my friends daughter Lily-Rose which was a huge honour and we had the most beautiful day. It’s crazy how fast she is growing up and learning things its so adorable.

Then it was also my birthday, I celebrated by going on an afternoon tea canal cruise on the Friday followed by going to see The Lion King. (I cried as soon as the music started!) I then went out for a meal with my family and treated myself to a unicorn cake, which I was eating for days after there was so much.

I also shot my first solo wedding which was so nerve wrecking but an amazing experience and i cant wait to do it again. I’m just in the middle of writing up a post all about my advice for shooting your first wedding and can’t wait to show you the progress from the first wedding I did.

And then we come to this last week which I have been off work for, my plan this week was to spend 3 days on the house, 3 days working on blog posts and editing pre filmed youtube videos and then a few days to relax. But whoops, I really underestimated how busy we were going to be with the house once we got stuck in I kind of didn’t want to stop as I thought we might as well get it all sorted now. I know these things take time however, I just couldn’t stand the blue walls and cracked plaster anymore.

We have worked so hard this week to get the house almost finished to how we want it and im so proud of our lovely little home. I will post some before and after photos in my next house diary post next week. I can’t wait to share the photographs with you of the house but in the meantime head over to my instagram stories to see some sneak peeks.

Now its time to relax for the remaining 2 hours of annual leave I have left, homemade butterfly cake in hand and a fresh set of nails done. All I need now is a cup of tea… DAVEEEEE?! 🙂
