THE BEST FOOD IN BALI

When we left Australia and headed over to Bali I was a little nervous about the food situation and was anticipating us eating street food the whole time. Once we arrived, I was so surprised at the amount of trendy and modern cafes and restaurants dotted about. Yes they looked a little out of place in most of the chaotic streets but I was pleasantly surprised and tried to visit as many as I could. Here are my 4 favourites as well as some other recommendations I have along the way. Be sure to comment below if you have ever…

CAT N A CUP

What do you do when your in Chaing Rai? Go to the temples? Go to see Elephants? Or go to a cat cafe, of course the latter!  Dave has been dying to go to a cat cafe ever since he came back from Atlanta and visited one there so when I saw one recommended on trip advisor I knew I had to tell him about it. Cat n a Cup is a modern cafe where you of course can enjoy your dinner whilst spending time in a room full of cats.  Now I get that this may not be everyones…

The food here was really good just nice and simple good food swell as some really cool artwork.  We of course had to take a break from the coffee shops and go to see some of the sights in Chiang Mai. We went to go and see the Tha…

BANGKOK | TRAVEL DIARY #41

First stop of the day was Jim Thompsons house, he was an American that moved to Thailand and launched a huge silk business. In 1976 he disappeared never to be seen again which  started one of the largest land searches in south east asian history. His house has now been turned into a museum, most of which has been kept the same as the day he disappeared.  The gardens around his house were really pretty I almost felt like I was about to go and have a spa day. His house was filled with artefacts and antiques, I loved looking…
