PARIS | TRAVEL DIARY #49

One of my favourite and most visited European cities is Paris. It was one of those places I didn’t want to like in college as everyone used to go on about it but I got sucked in and fell in love with the architecture and most importantly the macaroons!  Our first day out in Paris consisted of the main sights; Arc De Triomphe, Champs Eleyse, Notre Dame and then Avenue De New York. I loved going and seeing these again and it was funny seeing the queues of tourists all wanting the same photos.  We then went to take photos…

DISNEYLAND PARIS | TRAVEL DIARY #48

How do I even start to put this amazing 3 days into words. If any of you have already seen on social media, this was the most magical 3 days of my life and I cant wait to write a blog post all about it!  So the first day we arrived in Paris and we were staying in a small town called Torcy. Its only a few train stops away from Disney so I high recommend staying in this area as its a lot cheaper. We had purchased a two day Disney Park ticket in advance for the next two…

BRUGES | TRAVEL DIARY #47

Our second stop in Europe was Belgium, we were staying in Brussels but decided to have a day trip and take the train to Bruges. Now Bruges, where do I start. This is the most beautiful European town I have ever been, me and Dave are already planning our next trip back here. It was so beautiful in the summer but I cant wait to see what it would be like around the more festive times of the year.  The walk from the train station into the town took us through a really pretty park area with bridges. Straight away…

BRUSSELS | TRAVEL DIARY #46

Day one in Brussels and we had a mammoth day walking around the town. First impressions was that it was more traditional than Frankfurt and I loved all the old buildings. This place really has a more  Amsterdam vibe with the mix of old and new buildings.  First stop we headed to the Mont Des Arts which is a garden that has an amazing view of the city. If you visit this is a must visit as its free and its a great chance to take some photos.  We then walked around to the Royal Palace which I have to…

COLOGNE | TRAVEL DIARY #45

After a short train journey from Frankfurt we arrived in Cologne. My first impressions was that it was very similar to Frankfurt with the collection of old and new buildings. When we arrived and walked out of the train station there stood the Cologne Cathedral, and wow it was amazing. We took a few photos and then headed to our air bnb and saw some more cattle like buildings on the way.  The next day we went straight back to the cathedral to take some photos inside when we didn’t have the suitcases and backpacks. The stained glass art was…
