HANOI | TRAVEL DIARY #37

After a 12 hour journey on the sleeper bus we arrived in Hanoi. (note: even though its a sleeper bus this does not mean we managed to get any sleep!) Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and is right at the top of the country. HOI AN AND HUE, VIETNAM | TRAVEL DIARY #36

The next stop on our Vietnam trip was Hoi An, this town is so much more relaxed and calm compared tot he last few stops and it was nice to take a step back and walk around at a much slower pace. The river and surrounding areas had a really nice relaxed atmosphere with a huge selection of restaurants to choose from. HO CHI MINH, VIETNAM | TRAVEL DIARY #35

After another bus border crossing fiasco we arrived in Ho Chi Minh, 3 hours delayed eek! We headed to our hotel which luckily was about 50 metres away from were the bus dropped us off.  The next day we did our own tour of the town. All of these were in walking distance to the hotel and if your staying in Ho Chi Minh I would recommend walking to these places yourself instead of buying a city tour as it is really easy to find all the attractions.  Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica Saigon Central Post Office Ho Chi Minh City Hall…
